"The Dreams and Nightmares project originates from an intensive, phenomenological investigation into the nature of recurrent nocturnal imagery. These works are anchored in a series of persistent dreams and nightmares that consistently intersected with my waking consciousness, exerting a significant influence over my cognitive processes and daily lived experience.

Faced with these cyclical, intrusive narratives, I conceptualized the act of painting as a necessary mechanism for psychological regulation—a form of artistic inquiry that functions as both documentation and therapeutic remedy.
